📝 Abstract
Curriculum development is a critical factor in shaping educational outcomes, yet it often neglects the local cultural contexts in which it operates. This study examines the integration of local cultural elements into educational curriculum design, aiming to create more inclusive and effective learning environments. The research utilizes a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative interviews with educators and quantitative analysis of student performance data across diverse cultural settings. Findings indicate that incorporating local cultural contexts not only enhances student engagement but also improves comprehension and application of knowledge. By analyzing case studies from Lithuania, Nepal, and India, this paper demonstrates how locally-contextualized curricula promote better educational outcomes. The study concludes that educators and policymakers should prioritize cultural relevance in curriculum design to foster inclusive educational systems that reflect the diversity of student backgrounds. This approach ensures that education systems are adaptable and responsive to the needs of diverse populations, facilitating a comprehensive learning experience for students globally.
