📝 Abstract

In the face of escalating climate change, understanding the adaptive mechanisms of ecosystems is paramount for developing effective conservation strategies. This study investigates climate adaptation processes across diverse ecosystems in Europe, Asia, and Africa. The objective is to identify common and unique adaptive traits that enable survival amid environmental changes. We conducted a comparative analysis using field data collection and remote sensing technologies to evaluate species' response to climate variables. Our findings reveal significant adaptations in plant phenology and animal behaviors that vary by region yet show intriguing similarities in response to temperature and precipitation shifts. Notably, certain species exhibited phenotypic plasticity that suggests inherent adaptive potential enhancing ecosystem resilience. The study concludes that cross-regional insights can inform adaptive management practices and emphasizes the need for integrated approaches in conservation planning. These findings underscore the importance of fostering collaborative international research efforts to address the challenges of climate adaptation.
