📝 Abstract

The increasing need for sustainable agricultural practices has brought pest management to the forefront of global environmental challenges. This study aims to develop environmentally friendly pest control methods that reduce reliance on chemical pesticides. Our objective is to create a comprehensive framework integrating biological control, resistant crop varieties, and precision agriculture technology. Through a series of field experiments conducted across three diverse climate zones, we assessed the effectiveness of parasitoids and pheromone traps in controlling pest populations. Additionally, genomic analysis was employed to identify pest resistance in genetically diverse crop strains. Our findings indicate a significant reduction in pest-related crop losses, enhanced by the integration of locally adapted biological agents and advanced monitoring systems. The study concludes that adopting a hybrid approach to pest management can lead to sustainable crop production while minimizing environmental impact. This research provides a viable path forward for farmers and policymakers aiming to embrace sustainable practices in agriculture.
