📝 Abstract

Epigenetics plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression in response to environmental stressors. This study aims to unravel the intricate mechanisms through which epigenetic modifications mediate stress responses in organisms. Utilizing an integrative approach, we combined genome-wide analysis, chromatin immunoprecipitation, and high-throughput sequencing to identify key epigenetic marks associated with stress response genes. Our findings revealed significant alterations in DNA methylation patterns and histone modifications in stress-sensitive genomic regions. These epigenetic changes were found to be reversible, indicating their role in adaptive responses. Moreover, we discovered that specific non-coding RNAs were upregulated, suggesting their involvement in the epigenetic regulation of stress-responsive genes. This study enhances our understanding of the dynamic nature of epigenetic regulation and its impact on gene expression during stress. Our results underscore the potential for targeting epigenetic modifications as a therapeutic strategy for stress-related disorders. In conclusion, the epigenetic landscape is essential for modulating gene expression in response to environmental challenges, providing a framework for future research in molecular biology and therapeutic interventions.
