📝 Abstract
Economic development in emerging economies hinges significantly on the quality of institutional frameworks. This paper seeks to explore the impact of institutional quality on economic growth across various developing nations by employing a comparative approach. Utilizing data from the World Bank and the Global Competitiveness Index, we analyze the correlation between institutional quality indicators and economic performance. The study adopts a mixed-methods approach, incorporating quantitative analysis through econometric modeling alongside qualitative interviews with policy analysts. Our findings suggest that countries with robust legal frameworks, transparent policymaking processes, and effective governance exhibit higher levels of economic growth. Conversely, economies with weaker institutional structures face challenges in sustaining long-term development. The paper concludes by underscoring the necessity for policy reforms focused on strengthening institutional quality to facilitate sustainable economic progress. Recommendations for future research include a deeper investigation into sector-specific impacts and the role of international cooperation in bolstering institutional capacities.
