The aim of this paper is to establish common fixed point theorems for \nsingle valued maps satisfying general contractive condition of integral type using \nweak compatibility wherein the conditions of completeness of the underlying \nsubspaces and containment of ranges amongst involved maps is not needed. \nMoreover, an example and an application are also given to illustrate the usability of \nthe obtained results
