📝 Abstract

The research paper intends to interpret how the family & social factors like family income, family size and influence of family & society relates to the entrepreneurial intentions of students after completion of their professional degree in Uttarakhand, India. This is a quantitative study conducted at Uttarakhand state of India on a large sample of students studying in various professional courses of Uttarakhand. The research validates a relationship between the entrepreneurial intentions of students and the influence of family & social factors. The influence of family income on entrepreneurial intentions of students is also established. The research also confirms that there is no influence of family size and father’s occupation on the career choice decision of students.
