Juvenile crime is part of overall crime in a society, but due to the characteristics associated with its perpetrators, it is also a phenomenon. The aim of this paper is to offer an updated and more comprehensive insight of this problem in our country between 2010 and 2012, by analyzing the data on the number and type of criminal offences committed by minors. The official data of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Serbia concerning recorded criminal offences committed by juveniles will be used for the analysis of juvenile delinquency. The main objective is to explain what is the current situation regarding juvenile delinquency and to provide a reference point for future researches and discussions.
