📝 Abstract
The purpose of the present study is to investigate the innovation tendencies of the managers of organizations operating in furniture industry. It was observed that the managers working in R&D departments of these organizations have some problems in terms of risk-taking while conducting their work and innovation-oriented initiations have decreased. The present research intends to reveal the causes of these problems and analyze them so that some contributions can be made to literature. \nThe research employed correlation and multiple-regression tests and t-test. The results of the analyses revealed that freedom-oriented managers working in the furniture industry have great influences on the perception of innovation in this industry and gender is not a significant factor affecting innovation and age and education have some influences on the perception of innovation.
