📝 Abstract
Multiple input multiple output (MIMO) system performance is limited due to inter symbol and inter stream interferences. We have proposed a novel MIMO beamforming architecture to combat these issues. Our contribution is twofold: firstly we have introduced a novel beamforming architecture which utilizes both spatial and temporal processing of received beams and secondly we have designed a variant of adaptive least mean forth (LMF) based algorithm using fractional calculus. The proposed architecture serves two purposes: firstly the spatial beam processing utilizes space diversity and secondly the temporal beam processing eliminates ISI introduced in the received beam due to multipath channel.
