πŸ“ Abstract

Appropriate management of tourist destinations particularly through planning and organizing them play a major role in attraction of tourists. Also resources and facilities and attractions of each tourist destination have undeniable influence in this respect. With respect to development of tourism in Qazvin province, after a literature review, consulting relevant experts and testing usefulness of identified variables and adapting them with local context, finally eight variables (difficulties of the road, travelling convenience, tourist daily services, environmental sanitation, hoteling, road building, transportation and security) were chosen for present study. Experts’ opinions were used to rank and determine efficacy coefficients of the eight variables i.e. factors relevant to prioritization of touristic cities and this process was done using fuzzy analytic hierarchy process. Present research engaged in prioritization of tourist cities of Qazvin province with respect to multiple measures. In addition to identification of potential of Qazvin province for attraction of tourists, also cities of this province were prioritized based on the intended criteria. To this end relevant experts were consulted and the results showed that in prioritization of cities of Qazvin province, Barajin had the highest number of visitors respectively followed by Evan Lake, Razjerd village and Hir village.
