The Ferroelectric Perovskites mainly have Titanates which are used in numerous electronic and optical applications. The pure and doped Barium Titanate is one of the most significant members of the Perovskite family. Due to its smartness for modification in its electrical properties by the introduction of various dopants, it has enormous utility in the modern applications. In this paper, dielectric properties of pure and doped BaTiO3 based solid solutions are overviewed with the help of different experimental and theoretical studies.
