📝 Abstract
Background: Understanding the factors that lead to academic achievement and prevent academic failure, Spiritual intelligence as a basis for a belief integral role in various fields of human life, especially the provision and promotion of mental health. However, the role of self-esteem, mental health, physical health, and community participation is very important to be considered.\nPurpose: The purpose of this study is whether the relationship between spiritual intelligence and self-esteem and academic achievement there?\nMethods: The population consisted of all the students in the academic year 93-92 is University of ILAM Using a multistage cluster sampling of 100 students were selected as the sample size research university. The instrument used in this study to measure spiritual intelligence exquisite Esteem Scale and the grade point average as an indicator of student achievement is. Data analysis using descriptive statistics, frequency analysis and inferential statistics, correlation and regression were performed.\nResults: The results showed that the students\' progress with spiritual intelligence (r = 0.305) and self-esteem (r = 0.407) correlated positively. Thus the relationship between spiritual intelligence and self-esteem is a significant achievement at p = 1%. Conclusions: The results indicate that students with higher spiritual intelligence, academic achievement, self-esteem enhancement goes, yet has the most influence on academic achievement considering it is necessary.
