📝 Abstract
Stewardship, applied to place and time, is a loaded term. This article is an attempt to demystify the term by defining approaches that define the caring of place. It is a review article based on the author’s attempt to understand peri-urban dynamics and to convey a special message on the usability of stewardship as a concept in space. This article proposes five approaches to this analysis. It uses terms from the main language spoken in Zimbabwe, Shona to illustrate the understanding of stewardship.
