πŸ“ Abstract

Four kinds of seizure models were used for investigating the anticonvulsant activity of Fluvoxamine Maleate (FM). Results showed FM was a useful agent to control seizure in lower dosage in the maximal electroshock test, but could induced seizure in higher dosage. And it could protect mice from isoniazid induced seizure, but can’t protect mice from pentylenetetrazole and 3-mercapto-propionic acid induced seizure. The neurotoxicity of FM was hard to investigate, because it was induced seizure in higher dosage, and it was the neurotoxicity too.
