The Essays in the Judeo-Christian Tradition section represents Cithara's founding mission as a humanities journal. Hard copy issues are published in May/June and November/December by St. Bonaventure University. Topics include medieval philosophy, Franciscan studies, Thomas Merton scholarship, literary criticism, comparative theology, religious aesthetics, and interdisciplinary humanities research.
